Bueno... me llegó el día... algo dentro de mí ha estado resistiendo la idea de ponerme una máscara, no sé, creo es algo psicológico

... talvéz porque asocio la máscara con alguién que quiere ocultar su identidad para hacer alguna fechoría

, pero como recién ayer me llegó un email en el cual se me avisaba de que un empleado del super cerca de donde vivo resultó positivo de COVID-19, entonces pues, y aprovechando que mi mami me hizo esa mascarilla hace poco, pues ni modo, hoy me tocó salir para ir al trabajo y la pude estrenar, me siento raro con algo que me tapa el rostro, pero, como dicen, hay que cuidarse y cuidar a la familia.

Saben... me siento como Optimus Prime, el benévolo capitan de los Autobots en una de mis caricaturas favoritas de infancia, "Los Transformers"... la versión original pues... y se lo dije a mi mami cuando me la dio, que pareciera la cubierta de boca de Optimus Prime... solo me hace falta el casco... "Autobots, transfórmense y avancen!"

No sé si alguien de ustedes también resistieron el uso de mascarilla. Dios nos siga sosteniendo y bendiciéndoles a todos!

Well... the day arrived... something inside me has been resisting the idea of wearing a mask... I don't know, may be is a mental thing

... perhaps because I associate the mask with a bandit that is concealing his identity to commit a crime

... but, since I got an email yesterday warning me about an employee at the supermarket close to home that has tested positive for COVID-19, then, and taking advantage of the fact that my mom made a mask for me on her sewing machine, so I said, be it, because I had to go to the office today to deal with a support issue and I had the chance then to use it for the first time... I feel strange with something covering my face but we have to care for ourselves and our families...

You know, I feel like "Optimus Prime", the good captain of the Autobots from a cartoon series that I enjoyed when I was a kid, "The transformers"... and I told my mom when I tried it... that it looks like the Optimus Prime covering... I only miss the helmet... "Autobots, transform and rollout!"

I don't know if some of you also had the same resistance to wearing a mask... God keep sustaining you and blessing you.
